The REACT programmes: A range of low-level interventions responding to young people's mental health issues.

The REACT programmes were designed in response to feedback from staff members across education who asked for programmes they can roll out to groups of young people either wating for mental health support, or those who would benefit from a form of low-level intervention.

REACT interventions include:
  • Anxiety
  • Low Mood
  • Body Image

How is REACT delivered?

Each REACT course is structured over five weeks, they're 50 minutes long to fit into the curriculum.

As well as being underpinned by evidence-based approaches, the REACT courses have been co-designed and co-developed with young people with lived experiences and trialled with a group of young people to ensure each course is informative and interactive and has resources relevant and valuable for young people.

Train-the-trainer model

The RAISE Team train staff across education and voluntary sectors to equip them to deliver the five REACT sessions to a small group of young people.

Each course is creative in its delivery and ensures a trauma-informed approach when delivering, ensuring the needs of young people accessing the course are met and a safe space is created within their setting.
